KALERVO "KAL" AALTO

Kal died on May 18, 2022, of glioblastoma; he was 66. Sisters Helena, Ritva, and Benita, nieces Ellis and Chloe, and nephew Dean will miss his quick wit, generosity, and ready laugh. Kal was a loyal member of Leafs Nation, serious Scrabble player, and lifelong rock fan, with Јve decades of concert ticket stubs to prove it.

Kal was known for his thoroughness and work ethic, and had a long career as a restoration technician, managing clean up and recovery after events like Јres and Љoods, for Chalet Services and Leda Restoration. We thank the Palliative team at Princess Margaret for caring for Kal. In his typically understated way, Kal didn't want a funeral. In his memory, play The Who or CCR, loud.
