The Toronto Make-Believes disappoint again

Leafs fans mourn Game 7 loss, May 15

I remember the three-peat in 1962,’63, and ’64, and the 1967 win, at the end of the six-team league. I remember Mahovlich being freed from Punch Imlach.

My advice on deciding games is: avoid them! If the team ever wins, there will be another series. If not, you can just get on with your life.

While another inevitable loss was winding down, I was on my way to a Smokey Robinson concert where “The Tracks of My Tears” and “The Tears of a Clown” were purely en- joyable. Sunday morning, I was coming down from a beautiful hike and those who are well compensated for playing a game, were getting on with their lives, too.
