Wireless charge

Wireless charging for mobile devices is all the rage in new vehicles, but you can also add it to an existing vehicle. The Hudly Fast 10-Watt Charger doubles as a phone mount and securely attaches to the freshair vent of most vehicles. It can be rotated 360 degrees to suit your viewing needs. The neat part? Move your phone toward the mount and its infrared sensors will automatically open the nonscratch silicon arms and then close them around your device. From that point, it’s automatically being charged. The unit is powered through a supplied cable that attaches to the vehicle. A quickrelease button unlocks your device when you need it. The company claims the Hudly Fast 10-Watt Charger works with most popular brands of cellphones. It is available for $50 (U.S.) at gethudly.com.

Ache free

Lengthy trips can be a pain in the back — and elsewhere — regardless of how comfortable your vehicle’s seats are. The Wagan Infra Heat Massage Magnetic Cushion is designed to give your legs and lower back some relief. The company said there are magnets within the cushion that it claims to help the healing process. With the flip of a switch, this ergonomically designed seat with built-in motors can massage (vibrate) at three levels of intensity. The cushion works with both DC and AC power adapters, which are included, meaning you can also use it at home. An adjustable strap secures the cushions to the seatback. The Wagan Infra Heat Massage Magnetic Cushion is priced at $67 (U.S.) from wagan.com.
